トラン ホアイ ナムさん

The reason of joining Tochu

5 years before, Tochu decided to hired Vietnamese trainee to work at the factory. At that time they need a person who can communicate in Vietnamese and Japanese. Having been working for 3 years at the Japanese Language School at that time, I felt that was a great chance to work for Tochu as a "bridge" to connect Vietnamese trainees and Japanese staffs at the factories. That was also great chance to work for a company which belong to monozukuri field also.

The job that I do now

Recruiting and supporting Vietnamese not only at the field but also private life, daily activities.
Renting house/apartment for employees
Employee befenit and other jobs belong to GA and HR department.

Company atmosphere ( Age, number of people, relationshp with other coworkers...)

At generall affair and human resource department, we have around 15 persons whom range from 20s to 60s. It is a very busy department with a lot of tiny work however everyone always tries to explain to me one by one for the first time. As a foreigner who is working in Japanese company, i dont feel the gap between us at all in the relationship among the employees. For sure the language sometimes can be a barrier but by talking and explaining carefully, everything can be deal quite smooth. we sometimes hang out together, talking about life, hobbies, jobs...

Rewarding and enjoyable of my job

Working in abroad expecially for HR is never an easy job however that is a great chance to understand how a japanese company is working. Tochu is changing evereyday so I myself also have to move forward to adapt to the chance. At Tochu, I have a chance to work, meet and communicate with everyone from several factories and departments. After joining Tochu, I spent quite long time to practice in several factories and get know everyone there. Working at the production line also can help you to understand the employees better and gain up the communication with them.

What I would like to challenge next (new certificate, job, etc)

There are hundred things to do at the HR department for you to challenge. I want to try my best to archirve the highest Japanese level test then support everyone in the deparment. Any personal archivement finally can not compare with the successful of the team. Understanding the meaning of HR work and always try my best are the most two inportant things for me after arriving the office everyday.
